Kitchen Assistant

We’re looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by preparing and serving menu items, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position currently offers 5-10 hours per week, with opportunity to increase weekly hours over time.

Roles

  • Prepare and serve small plates and appetizers according to our menu standards.
  • Wash dishes, glassware, and utensils to maintain cleanliness.
  • Restock glassware, kitchen supplies, and food items as needed.
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Assist with basic food prep and kitchen organization.

Job Title:

Bartender

In this multifaceted role, you’ll be at the heart of our cocktail, craft beer and wine bar, providing exceptional customer service while also lending a hand in various other aspects of our operation.

From taking orders at the POS system to crafting consistent cocktails behind the bar, assisting with gatherings in our event space, restocking and maintaining a tidy bar, you’ll be integral to creating memorable experiences for our guests. This position currently offers 15-20 hours per week, with opportunity to increase weekly hours over time.

Roles

  • Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails to guests.
  • Customer Service: Take orders at the POS system, answer customer inquiries, and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items.
  • Table Maintenance: Clean and bus tables, ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Restocking: Monitor inventory levels of beverages, glassware, and supplies, and restock as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bartender’s License or willingness to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred, but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
